25 years of my life and still

Tryin' to get up that great big hill of hope

I realized quickly when I knew I should

That the world was made up of this brotherhood of man,

for whatever that means.

And so I cry sometimes, when I'm lying in bed

just to get all out, what's in my head, then I,

I'm feeling, a little peculiar.

And so I wake in the morning, and I step outside

scream from the top of my lungs, "What's going on?"
